Pre-decorated boards

For use as a general drylining board to refurbish or reline existing relocatable buildings as well as the construction of traditional stud partition walls and where properties include reaction to fire, thermal conductivity, thermal resistance and improved acoustics are required compared to plywood.

For a superior, stronger and specialised plasterboard, we can offer the MegaExcel plasterboard which combines outstanding fire, impact and acoustic performance and has double the strength of standard plasterboard.

Available with a range of pre-decorated vinyl finishes negating the need to skim and paint which reduces the installation time.

SPECIFICATION

Standard 12.5mm thick plasterboard sheet. (15mm thick available to order).

Size: 1200mmx2400mm, 1200mmx3000mm & 1200mmx3600mm.

Chipboard is an engineered wood product manufactured from wood chips bonded and compressed together with a synthetic resin. Most chipboards incorporate some recycled chipped timber such as sawdust or shavings.

Melamine is a manufactured wood. It is similar to particle board, but melamine is exceptionally stronger and made using a different process. The improvements in the overall construction of melamine have advanced the product’s use and popularity in the market.

Finish: White melamine one side, cream melamine other side.

Polyester Overlay plywood typically comprises decorative sheet paper and plywood with a polyester resin coating. After the film has been applied, the resin is rolled out and then allowed to harden. Although it does not have the surface hardness of decorative melamine sheet, it is much more cost-effective.

Constructed with tropical hardwood plywood, it is utilised for the lining of relocatable buildings, commercial vehicles and horse boxes but also applications were a scratch-proof surface is required.
